This session focuses on in vitro tests for serum allergen-specific IgE such as the Multiple Allergen Simultaneous Test (MAST) and ImmunoCAP. It aims to provide an understanding of the concept of allergy and allergic diseases, as well as explain how allergen-specific IgE screening tests are utilized in clinical practice with their interpretations and limitations.
